Pudgy Penguins Sets Pengu's World Live Event on Whatnot for Aug. 20

Pudgy Penguins is expanding its live commerce push with a new Whatnot stream dubbed Pengu's World, scheduled for Aug. 20 at 7pm ET. The announcement came from dyli_io, with the official pudgypenguins account retweeting the news to its followers.

The session teases "hunting for 1/1s," a likely reference to one-of-one collectible cards or art within the Pengu ecosystem. pudgypenguins will be live on Whatnot during the event, according to the announcement.

This marks the latest live shopping activation from the Pudgy Penguins brand, following its July launch of live shopping on TikTok and Whatnot, as well as recurring themed live shows on a weekly schedule. The event arrives as the Sept. 1 deadline approaches for Mystery Box redemption, with CEO Luca Netz recently teasing enhancements to those boxes.
