Pudgy Penguins' Schleich Figurines Appear at American Dream Mall

Pudgy Penguins' new schleich® collectible figurines have landed at American Dream Mall, the project's official pudgypenguins account said on Sept. 9, 2026, marking the character Pengu's latest move into physical retail.
The post shows Pengu on display inside the East Rutherford, New Jersey mall alongside stacked boxes of the collectible figures. Schleich is a German toy manufacturer known for its animal figurines, a category the Pudgy Penguins character now enters directly.
The team also signaled expansion beyond the initial location, stating that Pengu should be expected in more stores in the near term. No additional retail partners, timelines, or pricing were disclosed.
Pengu is the cornflower-blue mascot of Pudgy Penguins, the NFT-native brand behind the PENGU token, which launched on Solana and has since bridged to other chains including BNB Chain. The character has become the project's primary vehicle for consumer-facing merchandising, appearing across NFTs, media, and physical products.
The figurine rollout follows Pudgy Penguins' broader retail push, which included a nationwide Target launch for its trading card game in June 2026. Physical distribution deals have become a recurring theme for the brand as it seeks audiences outside crypto-native channels.
What to Watch
Attention now turns to which additional retailers will carry the schleich® line and whether the project confirms further product categories. Pudgy Penguins has not published a store list or release schedule for the figurines beyond the American Dream Mall display.
