Pudgy Penguins Releases 110-Page Prequel Story for Animated Universe

Pudgy Penguins (pudgypenguins) has released a prequel story for its animated universe told in "110+ pages", introducing new characters and towns. In the same July 28 thread the project named the release Adventures of Pax Pengu & Polly, called it its first comic book series, and said it debuted at San Diego Comic-Con. The hand-illustrated book, written by Vivian Lin with illustrations by Afiq Salam, is available for order now.

The prequel expands the lore of the Pudgy Penguins brand, which began as an NFT collection on Ethereum and has since evolved into a global consumer brand with physical toys, trading cards, and live shopping events. The story is described as a precursor to everything in the Pudgy animated universe.

It follows a run of brand expansions in July 2026: live shopping on TikTok and Whatnot, Vibes TCG restocks at retail, and claw machines at family entertainment centres.
