Pudgy Penguins' Pengu Emojis Surpass 700,000 Downloads

Pudgy Penguins announced its Pengu Emojis pack has surpassed 700,000 downloads. The project shared the milestone on Aug. 6, encouraging fans to grab the emojis and use them across the web.

Pengu, the blue-penguin mascot of the Pudgy Penguins NFT brand, is also the namesake of the project's PENGU token, which launched on Solana. The emoji pack lets users spread Pengu-themed icons across social platforms, extending the character's reach beyond web3.

The download milestone follows a busy period for Pudgy Penguins, including the PENGU token's expansion to BNB Chain in December 2025 and support from Paxos Crypto Brokerage in April 2026. The project also recently reminded users about KAST SBT qualification deadlines.

Pudgy Penguins continues to position Pengu as a mainstream cultural character through merchandise, media appearances, and now digital emojis.
