Pudgy Penguins Moves Pengu's World to Thursday 7PM ET

Pudgy Penguins' live commerce series Pengu's World is moving to a new time slot, with a fresh product lineup for its next Whatnot stream. On Thursday, Aug. 13 at 7PM ET, pudgypenguins went live on Whatnot to rip Kakawow Phantom trading cards, according to an announcement from dyli_io on Aug. 11.

"New time. New product. Same Igloo," the announcement reads, referencing parent company Igloo Inc. The move marks a schedule change for the recurring show, which launched in mid-July as part of Pudgy Penguins' expansion into live shopping on Whatnot and TikTok.

Kakawow Phantom cards have been a recent focus for the brand; on July 29, pudgypenguins restocked Kakawow Hobby Boxes on DYLI alongside a binder pre-sale. The upcoming stream continues that momentum with another live rip session.

Pudgy Penguins, the Ethereum-based NFT collection turned consumer products brand, has built out its physical retail and live commerce presence under Igloo Inc., which acquired the brand in 2022. The project also operates Pengu Clash, a skill-based multiplayer game that rewards players in PENGU.

The Thursday stream comes ahead of a Sept. 1 redemption deadline for Pudgy Penguins' final live mystery box rip stream, which the project promoted on Aug. 10.
