Pudgy Penguins Counts Down to China Tour With Shanghai and Beijing Stops

Pudgy Penguins' Asia-facing account, @PenguAsia, counted down to the start of the brand's China tour on Oct. 14, 2026, saying the run begins in three days with stops in Shanghai and Beijing. The main pudgypenguins account amplified the post, pairing the countdown with artwork showing a stylized dragon and two penguins in traditional dress against red mountains and a pagoda.

The three-day countdown points to an Oct. 17 start, which lines up with Pengu Blooming Shanghai — a Huddle event announced on Oct. 9 for Oct. 17 at a historic 1990s salon, staged with partners including deepcoincn, cbid_io and @JoinProxima. The company has not yet published a venue or timing for the Beijing leg.

The tour follows a broader Asia push by the brand this year. In August, Pudgy Penguins launched the Pengu World Tour, a global series of community-led meetups, and in late September the project counted down to Korea Blockchain Week. October has also brought a Shanghai LINE FRIENDS launch event and a Kung Fu Tea beverage collaboration that closes Oct. 15.
