Pudgy Penguins and KAST Set Sept 29 Pickleball Event

Pudgy Penguins (pudgypenguins) will bring mascot Pengu to the pickleball court on September 29, 2026, in a joint event with crypto payments platform @KASTxyz. The project announced the collaboration on September 22 and opened an RSVP link for the afternoon gathering.

The event is described as a mix of pickleball, friendly competition, and networking aimed at founders, creators, builders, and partners. No venue, city, or participant list was disclosed in the announcement.

An existing relationship

The pickleball outing extends a partnership between the two brands rather than introducing a new one. In July 2026, Pudgy Penguins reminded users that the qualification window for the KAST x Pudgy Penguins SBT closed on July 8, 2026, with use of the Pengu card required to qualify.

KAST operates a card and payments product used across crypto and traditional rails. Pudgy Penguins is the NFT-native brand behind the $PENGU token, which launched on Solana and has since bridged to additional chains, and the character Pengu (Paxton), who has expanded into merchandise, retail collectibles, and consumer partnerships.

The project has leaned into physical-world activations in recent months, including schleich collectible figurines placed at American Dream Mall in September 2026.
