Onchain Heroes Moving to Ethereum Mainnet, Asks AGW Players to Link a Wallet
onchainheroes said on Oct. 31 that Onchain Heroes is moving to Ethereum Mainnet, because Abstract shuts down on Dec. 15. Players who use an AGW are being asked to link a regular wallet they own, which is where their assets will go on Mainnet. One link covers both Onchain Heroes and Maze of Gains, and it requires no gas.
Players log in with their AGW, hit "Link a wallet" on the screen that appears, connect a regular wallet and approve a signature. The studio warns against using an exchange, Safe or smart-contract wallet. Players who linked a wallet for the Yield Fields whitelist are asked to log in and confirm it. The studio says the process takes about a minute. Nothing moves yet: no assets are transferred as part of the linking step, and the team says migration mechanics will be published later.
Maze of Gains is an onchain turn-based roguelike dungeon crawler from onchainheroes, playable on desktop and mobile, in which every run competes for a shared weekly ETH prize pool. The studio's Oct. 29 weekly stats showed 272 runs, 2,351 keys burnt and a $1,646 prize pool, down from 64,633 runs, about 5.4 million keys and a $3.8 million pool in its Oct. 1 update.
On Oct. 8 the studio said Ringbearers, heroes and MoG keys were safe and needed no action for the time being. That same update retired Marbles, which earned Abstract XP, and opened pro-rata Expedition Pass refunds.
What to watch
The migration wallet can be changed in-game under Settings › Migration wallet until Dec. 15, and the latest wallet linked is the one the studio will use. Migration details, which the studio says will come later, are the next milestone for both games.
