Maze of Gains Brings Free Play to Devcon India Game Zone

Maze of Gains, the game from onchainheroes, is playable at the Devcon Game Zone at Mumbai's Jio World Centre from Nov. 3–6, the studio announced on Nov. 2.

Play is free and needs no account. Players pick a name, run the maze and climb a leaderboard for $1,000 worth of Yield Fields Seeds. The studio is running an arcade leaderboard on each player's best run: 10 Bronze Seed Packs for first place, five each for second and third, two each for fourth through 10th and one each for 11th through 50th, 74 packs in all. Players get on the board by scanning a QR code at the booth or by entering a username and wallet address when they play.

Sessions are listed in Mumbai time (IST): Nov. 3, 12:00–14:00 and 17:00–18:00; Nov. 4, 09:00–10:00 and 12:00–13:00; Nov. 5, 09:00–10:00; Nov. 6, 11:00–12:00. A valid Devcon ticket is required to enter the venue. Players who are not in Mumbai can still run the maze online, the studio said.

Context

The event comes as Onchain Heroes prepares to leave Abstract, which shuts down on Dec. 15. On Oct. 31 the studio said it is moving to Ethereum Mainnet, and asked players who use an Abstract Global Wallet to link a regular wallet: "That's where your assets go on Mainnet." It said one link covers both Onchain Heroes and Maze of Gains, and that "Nothing moves yet, migration details come later."
