Lynq Moves Institutional Settlement to Avalanche L1 in Under 2 Hours

@Lynq_Network has moved its institutional settlement infrastructure onto a dedicated Avalanche L1, with tassatgroup leading the migration in under two hours and no disruption to service, according to a case study highlighted by avax on Sept. 24.
The announcement lists three reported outcomes from the move:
- 65% faster processing
- Deterministic sub-second finality
- Verifiable, onchain validator governance
Lynq operates settlement infrastructure for institutional clients, a segment where settlement speed and auditability are core requirements. Tassat Group, a regulated blockchain payments provider, ran the migration to the Avalanche L1, an application-specific chain that operators can configure independently of Avalanche's primary C-Chain.
The figures come from the two companies' own case study, published alongside the migration.
Institutional Migration Momentum
The Lynq move extends a run of institutional activity on Avalanche. Paxos went live on the network on Sept. 17, opening regulated rails to more than 650 institutions, and New York Life Investment Management brought its first tokenized fund — a U.S. High Yield Corporate Bond Strategy — onchain through Centrifuge the same day.
The case study's emphasis on validator governance points to a broader theme for Avalanche L1s: institutions deploying their own chains can define who validates and how, while still settling under the wider network's consensus.
What to watch: whether Lynq publishes transaction volume or participant data to support the reported performance gains.
