LOL Land Final Reminder: Game Goes Offline July 31, Players Must Redeem Points and Unstake
@LOLLandGame posted a final reminder on July 29 that the play-to-earn board game on Abstract will go offline permanently on July 31. Players must manually redeem in-game points for YGG tokens and unstake LOL tokens directly in the game app before the deadline.
The sunset follows @YieldGuild’s earlier announcement that its YGG Play platform, which powers LOL Land, will retire on July 31. In-game purchases were disabled on July 9, and quests ended the same day.
LOL Land launched on Abstract and is published by Yield Guild Games. It features themed boards and character NFTs from the Pudgy Penguins universe. @LOLLandGame’s post does not give a cutoff time on July 31, and @YieldGuild’s transition schedule advises unstaking "well ahead of the deadline."
After July 31, the game will no longer be accessible. No further extensions have been announced.
