Kona Reward Engine Highlights Real Yield APYs in USDC, ETH, and PENGU

@KonaDeFi said on July 31, 2026 that its reward engine "continues to offer 100% APY in real yield assets, paid in USDC, ETH and PENGU." The figure is the sum of three separate reward streams rather than a single rate: the same post's image lists WETH at 36.1%, USDC at 33.38% and PENGU at 32.7%.

Kona said the yields are generated from protocol fees on Kona Swap + Lend. The rates are variable and were those shown as of the July 31 post.

Kona is an omnichain consumer DeFi protocol built on Abstract, offering trading, lending, volatility products, and yield. Its native token, KONA, is an OFT that bridges across Abstract, Solana, and Robinhood Chain via a dedicated Kona bridge.

The update follows Kona's activation of protocol fee staking on Abstract in early July, which also added PENGU yield, and the later launch of PEARL-WETH LP staking. The protocol said it aims to share fee revenue directly with users through staking and rewards.
