Kona DeFi Launches PEARL-WETH LP Staking at a Stated 165% APY

Kona DeFi (@KonaDeFi) has launched staking for PEARL-WETH liquidity provider tokens, enabling users to earn rewards in ETH, USDC, and PENGU. The pool offers a combined 165% APY, with approximately 55% APY allocated per asset, according to a tweet from the protocol on July 9, 2026.

The staking feature is live on Abstract, the blockchain where Kona operates as a full-stack DeFi protocol. The platform provides trading, lending, and yield products tailored for consumer audiences at the intersection of DeFi and NFT markets.

This launch follows Kona's recent activation of protocol fee staking on July 8, which also added PENGU yield. The PEARL-WETH LP staking expands Kona's yield offerings, incentivizing liquidity providers with multi-asset rewards.
