Kabu NFTs to Migrate from Abstract to Ethereum on July 10
The Kabu NFT project (kabuxyz) has announced a migration of its entire collection from the Abstract blockchain (abstractchain) to Ethereum Mainnet. On July 10, the Kabu collection will freeze on Abstract, and a snapshot will be taken of all Kabu held in EVM-compatible wallets. Eligible NFTs will then be automatically airdropped to the same wallet addresses on Ethereum Mainnet, preserving both character artwork and token IDs.
The migration requires no action from holders after the snapshot; tokens will simply appear in their wallets on Ethereum. Holders who miss the July 10 window are not locked out — Kabu said a claim portal will open on July 11, once the migration completes, so late movers can still bring their NFTs across to Ethereum. Kabu is an NFT project centered on the "Sunset City" world, with 7,000 bear-themed NFTs fostering fun and friendship. The move follows a broader trend of NFT projects migrating between chains, with earlier Abstract collections like Final Bosu having made a similar leap to Ethereum in May 2026.
