jihoz_axie, co-founder of Sky Mavis and the ronin_network, is spotlighting Volt, a trading card game platform built on Ronin that targets collectors in Southeast Asia — a region historically underserved by traditional card shipping infrastructure.
Volt operates by partnering with a network of local card shops across SEA to serve as distributed storage points, enabling more affordable regional shipping. Collectors can also choose to sell cards back through the platform or hold them as digital assets without taking physical delivery.
What's Available at Launch
The platform is currently in soft launch and already carries Pokemon, One Piece, and Riftbound (the upcoming League of Legends TCG) packs, with multiple retailers already onboarded.
Volt's onboarding flow is designed for accessibility: users sign up with an email address and can fund accounts via bank transfer, GCash, Apple Pay, QR code, or stablecoins — a payment stack tailored to Southeast Asian users.
The ronin_network, originally built to support Axie Infinity, has increasingly positioned itself as a broader Web3 gaming and consumer platform. Jihoz's public endorsement signals continued efforts to attract builders addressing real-world utility gaps in the region.
Volt remains in soft launch as of March 26, 2026, with further product expansions expected.
