The community-driven Void Dungeon event on Abstract has amassed a nearly 50,000 prize pool and jackpot in just over 48 hours, with $9,000 already paid out, according to Gigaverse founder 0xdith.
0xdith, the co-founder of Gigaverse and GLHFers, noted that the current iteration of the dungeon was built in just three days and is heavily PvP-focused. The rapid accumulation of funds highlights strong engagement from the Abstract gaming community, which has organically driven the prize pool to its current size.
Gigaverse is one of Abstract's most successful crypto-native RPGs, boasting over 75,000 players and more than 10 million in marketplace volume. 0xdith, a former Stripe employee and Head of Business Development at Proof of Play, has become a prominent builder in crypto gaming, focusing on programmatic innovation and community-driven experiences.
The Void Dungeon event is currently live, and 0xdith expressed confidence in improving future iterations, stating, "Confident we can make the next one much better."
