0xDith, founder of Gigaverse, has debuted GIGA-OPS — a new internal platform built to orchestrate game-wide live operations events without requiring developer involvement. The first live ops event on Abstract's crypto-native RPG is currently running as the system's inaugural deployment, as of April 2, 2026.
GIGA-OPS is designed to give Gigaverse's team the ability to spin up and manage in-game events flexibly, decoupling event production from the engineering roadmap. According to 0xDith, the tool keeps developers free for what he describes as "bigger things" currently in progress.
What Is Gigaverse?
Gigaverse is one of Abstract blockchain's most active gaming projects, with over 75,000 players and more than $10 million in marketplace volume to date. Built by 0xDith and his team, it has established itself as a flagship title in the Abstract ecosystem.
The introduction of GIGA-OPS signals a maturation in Gigaverse's internal infrastructure — moving from ad-hoc event management toward a dedicated, reusable system. The ability to run live ops independently of dev cycles is a common milestone for scaling live-service games.
No details have been shared yet on what the teased "bigger things" in development entail, but 0xDith's mention suggests a more significant product update or feature is on the horizon. Players and followers of the project will want to watch 0xDith's feed for further announcements.
