playgigaverse has removed wallet restrictions for new player onboarding, allowing anyone with an abstractchain-compatible wallet to join the game as of March 18, 2026.
Previously limited to specific wallet options, Gigaverse now accepts MetaMask, Phantom, Rabby, and any other wallet that supports the Abstract network — a move the team frames as central to its accessibility mission.
What Is Gigaverse?
Gigaverse is a fully on-chain pixel-art MMO RPG built on abstractchain, developed by the GLHFers team. The game features dungeon crawling, rock-paper-scissors combat, crafting, fishing, and PvP competition. It has attracted over 75,000 players and generated more than $10 million in marketplace volume, making it one of the most active crypto-native games currently in production.
Broader Wallet Support
The expansion lowers a key barrier for players who may already hold assets in popular wallets like MetaMask or Phantom but were previously unable to use them to access Gigaverse directly. New players can now connect their existing wallet of choice rather than creating a new one.
The announcement comes with a thread from the team detailing the full scope of supported wallets and onboarding steps.
With the player base already exceeding 75,000, the wallet expansion positions playgigaverse to capture users across the broader abstractchain ecosystem without requiring additional wallet setup.
