Fugz Animation Reels Hit 4.6M Views in First Triple-Platform Milestone
Fugz, the Ethereum-based NFT collection of 5,555 Fuzzy Gopher characters, has reached a social media milestone: one of its animation reels has performed well on three platforms simultaneously for the first time, according to founder yotdog69.
In a post on Aug. 5, yotdog69 shared that a recent Fugz reel amassed 1.5 million views and 22,000 likes on Instagram, 2 million views and 145,000 likes on TikTok, and 1.1 million views with 18,000 interactions on Facebook. The founder noted that Fugz has been publishing one to three new animations on web2 socials every week for 10 months straight, but had never seen a reel catch traction on all three platforms at once until now.
The Facebook performance is particularly notable, as yotdog69 described it as the first time that platform has gained meaningful momentum for Fugz content.
Fugz is a community- and IP-driven NFT project focused on its fuzzy gopher characters. The collection migrated from Abstract to Ethereum in April 2026 and is known for its prolific GIF culture, amassing over a billion views on Giphy. The project operates under the @FugzOfficial handle and has expanded through collaborations such as MetaFugz with MetaMask.
With this cross-platform traction, Fugz continues to lean into personality-driven entertainment, extending its animated IP well beyond the NFT holder community.
