DYLI Debuts Fair Drops to Counter Bot-Driven TCG Releases

dyli_io unveiled Fair Drops on Oct. 1, 2026, a new mechanism the Abstract-based collectibles marketplace is pitching as a fairer alternative to bot-dominated trading-card releases.
The announcement arrived as a short promotional post with a linked image. That image, which shows Pokémon trading cards alongside "Vibes"-branded packs, displays the phrase "FAIR DROPS" with the words "BOTTED DROPS" struck through — framing the feature as a direct answer to automated buying that has long frustrated TCG collectors.
DYLI did not disclose how Fair Drops works, which drops will use it, how allocations will be determined, or when it goes live. The post included only the image and a link.
Context
DYLI operates a marketplace for authentic physical collectibles — cards, sealed packs, graded slabs, and toys — paired with a digital trading layer. The marketplace runs on Abstract; the brands and collectibles listed on it are independent and carry their own chains or none at all.
The term "fair drops" has appeared in DYLI's product language before. When the platform rolled out its DYLI Pro membership on Sept. 16, 2026, it listed waived fair-drop launch fees among the tier's benefits — an early indication that a drop mechanism under that name was already in the works.
The post lands amid a busy stretch for DYLI, which has shipped Pudgy Penguins Mystery Box pulls to collector vaults, opened Live Rips for sealed pack openings, and taken submissions for a Trencher TCG Live Rip in the week after Sept. 30.
What to watch
Collectors will be looking for the mechanics behind Fair Drops: entry requirements, allocation rules, and which upcoming releases — including the Pokémon product teased in the image — will be the first to run through the system.
