Blinko Season 2 Beta Goes Live as Witty Shutdown Looms

Blinko is continuing operations independent of @play_witty, with Season 2 now live in beta, according to an announcement from creator @bearish_af on October 23.

The game's existing URL is set to redirect to the new Season 2 beta site by the weekend of October 24–25, giving players a single entry point once the migration completes. bearish_af said Bearish will handle all Blinko support going forward, including any disputes tied to Season 1.

Season 1 rewards remain accessible through the account menu, and the team pointed players to its Discord for ongoing communication.

Context

The update follows play_witty's announcement that Witty Games will shut down on October 31, a move the studio tied to the shutdown of Abstract. The closure covers MoonSheep Cannon, Space Exploration, Lingo, Blinko and the studio's other titles, and Witty urged players to claim any outstanding winnings before the deadline.

Blinko is Bearish's physics-based, Plinko-style onchain game, launched on Abstract in December 2025 under the Bearish NFT umbrella. The project reported 1.5 million games played and 6,185 unique players as of late July 2026.

The immediate test is execution: whether the domain redirect lands on schedule over the October 24–25 weekend and whether Season 1 reward claims and disputes are processed before Witty's October 31 cutoff.
