Bearish Moves Bears and BURR From Abstract to Ethereum, Claims Run to Dec. 16
Bearish (@bearish_af) is migrating its NFT collection, along with the BURR token, Customs and accrued rewards, from Abstract to Ethereum. Claims were scheduled to open on Oct. 20 at 16:00 UTC through a single-signature claim-and-migrate flow, after a snapshot at 00:00 UTC the same day that the project said had completed. Bearish also said the collection is deployed on Ethereum and transferred on OpenSea.
The project laid out a tight sequence for holders. Liquidity providers had until Oct. 18 to withdraw BURR from pools, and trading on the Abstract collection was disabled on Oct. 19 ahead of the snapshot. After the snapshot, holders connect an AGW wallet, designate an Ethereum address, and sign once — the team says there is no bridge step and no fee to sign. Unclaimed bears and BURR have a hard cutoff of Dec 16 at 00:00 UTC, after which remaining assets route to the team wallet. Dormant bears migrate without being woken, retaining their original start dates.
Alongside the move, Bearish is running a 500-bear "Bring a Bear" sale from Oct. 20 16:30 UTC to Oct. 23 16:30 UTC at 0.015 ETH per bear, open to Abstract XP Gold tiers and above and allocated by tier and subject to a 30-day lock plus a day-90 price shield. A "Fur Keeps" mechanic letting holders burn a Custom for 1/1 art opens a week after the migration at 0.25 ETH.
The team says 100% of NFT royalties and Uniswap v4 pool fees, plus all Bring a Bear proceeds, will be recycled into the BURR/ETH pool. Bearish credited OpenSea and cartyisme for migration support, said it never DMs first, and told holders to claim only through its official site.
What to watch
Whether the one-click flow holds up at scale, and how much liquidity the fee-recycling model draws into the new Ethereum pool before the December deadline.
