Bearish Relaunches Website With Den Collector Hub and Apps Portal
Bearish (bearish_af) has relaunched its website, rebuilding the home page around its Barry and Bella bear characters and adding a collector hub called the Den, according to an announcement on Oct. 29.
The project says its bears now draw 13 billion GIPHY views, with more than 150,000 followers and over 1,000 holders. The new home page surfaces GIFs in a "watch them, send them" mosaic, runs Barry reels in the banner, and allows one-tap copying of any GIF.
Den Feature: Collector Hub Edition
The Den functions as a personal collector dashboard. Users can choose from 10 den banners, climb a rank ladder running from Cub to Grizzly Legend, and hibernate bears to accrue Red Berries, claimed with a single tap. Bearish describes Red Berries as play-only points with no cash value.
The hub also tracks 88 medals across traits, sets, rarity, hibernation and undisclosed secret badges, with each bear's individual progress viewable from its page.
Apps and Physical Concepts
A new apps page aggregates Bearish's social games in one place — the first entries in what the project calls its goal of building "the biggest IP social games platform."
Bearish also previewed physical "Bear Life" concepts: a signature plush, a dressable magnet bear, custom plushes, boxes and pins. The items are ready for build-out sampling, with the project soliciting holder input on what to produce first.
What's next: Bearish says trait swap, a Build-a-BEARISH feature and BEARISH Games on iOS and Android are in development.
