Avalanche Summit to Feature Rain Cards on Onchain Loyalty Rewards

avax has announced that John Timoney Gomez of Rain Cards (raincards) will speak at Avalanche Summit, taking place Sept 16–17 at Chelsea Industrial in New York City. Gomez, who leads business development and strategy at Rain after co-founding the onchain rewards platform Uptop (uptop_xyz) — acquired by Rain in 2025 — will discuss how declining payment costs are opening the door to new loyalty and rewards models built on Avalanche.

The talk will explore how persistent digital relationships could allow fans to carry a lasting record of their connection to a team, turning years of participation into something recognized and useful, per avax.
