Avalanche Summit NYC Adds Kevin O'Leary, BlackRock, Apollo to Speaker Roster

Avalanche Summit New York will feature Kevin O'Leary and executives from some of traditional finance's largest institutions, according to the official speaker roster shared by avax on Sept. 13.

The lineup for the two-day event, scheduled for Sept. 16-17 in New York City, includes speakers from @BlackRock, @FTDA_US (Fidelity Digital Assets), apolloglobal, @JHIAdvisors, and @Broadridge. avax said limited tickets remain for the Summit, with registration handled through avalanchesummit.com.

O'Leary, the Canadian investor widely known as "Mr. Wonderful" from the television show Shark Tank, has been an active commentator on digital assets and institutional adoption. His addition places a recognizable mainstream finance figure alongside representatives of the world's largest asset manager, a private equity major, and a brokerage and custody infrastructure provider.

Institutional Focus

The speaker list reflects the Summit's tilt toward institutional finance, a theme Avalanche's official account has been promoting in the run-up to the event, including a planned talk by John Nahas on why institutions are building custom chains around their own products. Earlier in the week, organizers named therollupco as the event's official media partner, and BitGo, Ethena, Securitize and Avalanche One had previously been announced as sponsors.

With the event now days away, the roster gives attendees a clearer picture of the finance-side participation expected in New York. What to watch for next is whether the sessions produce concrete announcements from the institutions on stage.
