0xCygaar, lead engineer at Abstract, announces major upgrades coming to the Abstract portal's trading infrastructure. The improvements focus on three key areas: enhanced execution quality, tighter slippage controls, and smarter routing across liquidity pools.

The upgrades represent a significant enhancement to the trading experience on Abstract, the consumer-first Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain developed by Igloo Inc. 0xCygaar, who serves as CTO of Cube Labs and is a core developer behind Abstract, indicates the improvements are currently undergoing internal testing.

Enhanced Trading Performance

The infrastructure upgrades target common pain points in decentralized trading. Better execution quality aims to improve trade outcomes for users, while tighter slippage controls help minimize the difference between expected and actual trade prices. The smarter routing system will optimize trades across multiple liquidity pools to find the best available prices.

0xCygaar states the enhanced trading infrastructure will be released to the public "very soon," though no specific timeline was provided. The announcement comes as Abstract continues developing its ecosystem focused on games, entertainment, and culture applications.

The improvements build on Abstract's mission to create user-friendly blockchain infrastructure that can scale to support mainstream adoption.
