Abstract Launches Perks to Connect Builders with Engaged Users

abstractchain announced Abstract Perks on Aug. 7, a new feature designed to help builders surface their apps to users who are already active on the Abstract chain. The project described Perks as a way to "reach users with intent," distinguishing it from cold-traffic acquisition.
Abstract is the consumer-focused Ethereum Layer-2 built on zero-knowledge rollup technology, with engineering led by Cube Labs as part of the Igloo Inc family. The announcement frames Perks as an alignment tool: "Growth works best when incentives are aligned and reach the right users," the chain wrote.
The feature appears aimed at reducing friction in user acquisition by placing apps in front of people already exploring Abstract, rather than targeting users unfamiliar with the chain. Specific implementation details, such as how apps qualify for Perks or when it becomes widely available, were not included in the announcement.
The launch follows a period of sustained onchain activity for Abstract, which reported over 5.5 million badges claimed by AGW users in late July. By connecting builders with existing users, Perks could give ecosystem projects a more direct path to engagement as Abstract continues to grow its consumer-focused ecosystem.
Further information on Perks is expected through official abstractchain channels.
